Ms Kerrie Shepherd
Kerrie Shepherd is a Kamilaroi woman from Glen Innes and proud resident of Blacktown Sydney.
Kerrie is a Wayappa culturally trained and certified facilitator in its processes.
She will implement the Wyapa work throughout the trainings o infuse our day with cultural interactivity. In her past public sector work Kerrie managed and implemented the strategic employment strategy for the NSW Police Service over a 12-year period, engaging and supporting approximately 450 First Nations people into the police service including implementing and mentoring in the highly successful IPROUD partnership program. She has advised corporate and public sector agencies on the implementation of the First Nations employment strategies over the past 20 years and is a skilled facilitator and mentor utilising cultural and spiritual knowledge to enhance her engagement, mentoring and employment strategy work.
Kerrie has worked with Yerrabingin as their Manager, community engagement and assists the company in its urban architectural landscape design with First Nations people to imbue local culture, art and cultural expression into all their designs.
